it was out with the blazers and in with the berets for a set of pupils who wore their air and army cadet uniforms to raise money for charity.

Pupils from Sir Thomas Wharton Community College in Edlington who are part of the Air Training Corps decided to dress up and put their own spin on Armed Forces Day with the ‘wear your uniform to work’ initiative.

Approximately ten pupils took part to raise cash for Help for Heroes and the local air cadet squadron.

Help for Heroes is a charity aimed at supporting wounded servicemen and women.
