And the skies above Bentley were set alight with a dramatic firework display to mark her victory.

And her mum Theresa Conneely, who was in London to see Thursday night’s live final, said she could not be happier.

She said: “It’s really surreal, I’m so proud of her. Thank you so much to The Star for supporting Chloe.

“I felt quite sick afterwards, I think it was all the nervous excitement. It hasn’t sunk in yet.

“I haven’t seen Chloe much because we’re in different hotels and she’s had a lot to do but I’m going to spend time with her today.”

Chloe, originally from Bentley, but currently living in Balby, is now £121,100 better off after scooping the prize money to add to the £5,000 she won during her time in the house.

Mum Theresa said Chloe planned to spend some of her winnings on taking a girlie trip to her beloved Beni-dorm in Spain, and helping her mum with her mortgage payments.

Tweeting about her victory Chloe posted; “Thank you all so so much, had the time of my life, hope Yorkshire are proud. Doing it for the girls. Absolutely chuffed.”

Speaking about her victory, on the night Chloe said: “I’m so shocked, I don’t feel I deserve this.”

Chloe’s family are now planning a big party back in Doncaster for her homecoming.

Asked by show host Emma Willis why she thought she had won, Chloe said: “I think people forgot I was in there – and girl power, maybe.”

And asked if she had worried being normal might not be enough, she said: “I felt a little bit talentless, a little bit out of place sometimes, and overshadowed.”

Residents in Doncaster were quick to take to social media following the victory.

Courtney Clark posted on Facebook: “I’m so happy for her! She has done Bentley proud. Well done Chloe.”

And Victoria Gravil posted: “Voted for Chloe to be the winner.

“Gorgeous girl inside and out.

“Hope she enjoys the rest of her life, living it to the max.

“Just hope she stays true to her roots and does not change.

“Everyone loves her for who she is. Well done Chloe.”
