Dearne MP John Healey made a visit to an open day at a local children’s centre.

The Labour politician was at Station House Children’s Centre in Thurnscoe on Friday to help celebrate the work of volunteers and staff who help to run the facility.

There was also a display giving information about the centre’s latest project ‘Seed to Feed’.

The scheme involves teaching children about the complex grow and eat cycle.
