EMERGENCY roadworks are to be carried out tomorrow to help repair a main road affected by subsidence caused by mining.
Work on the A60 Between Tickhill and Wadworth is expected to start at 7.30am with temporary traffic lights in place.
Subsidence has left the road very uneven and the work will help improve the surface.
The Mining Advisory Service said that additional subsidence will continue until December and a temporary speed limit of 40 mph will be imposed until the road stabilises and permanent repairs are completed, a Doncaster Council spokesman said.
Work is currently also underway to reduce congestion and install pedestrian crossings along the A630 Balby Road which is causing major tailbacks.
