Doncaster stunner Sam Rollinson has been shortlisted in the model of the year category in the British Fashion Awards.
Bessacarr beauty Sam is up against last year’s winner Cara Delevigne and Edie Campbell in the industry equivalent of the Oscars.
Sam was among the nominees announced Tuesday by the British Fashion Council for its annual awards.
More than 300 industry insiders will help choose the winners, who will be announced on December 2 at a glittering awards ceremony at the London Coliseum.
At just 18 the former Hall Cross pupil can already lay claim to gracing the pages of Vogue magazine, landing a Burberry campaign and being booked as a world wide exclusive for Balenciaga.
Speaking to the Free Press about her success back in the summer Sam said:
“When I landed the Burberry campaign it was brilliant but I was only 15 so at the time it didn’t really sink in how important it actually was and growing up I never thought I’d end up in Vogue end up in Vogue. It’s a lovely feeling knowing that you’re going to be in the next issue of Vogue.”
Striking Sam has been striding her way to the top of catwalks in London, New York, Paris and Milan.
models.com selected Sam as a top ten newcomer and the London Evening Standard called her a “rising star of 2013.”
