A former Doncaster schoolgirl missing from East Yorkshire is belived to now be in South Yorkshire, say Humberside Police.

They are trying to trace the whereabouts of a 14-year-old Megan Sambrook, who was reported missing from East Yorkshire last weekend.

She moved to East Yorkshire from Doncaster in May and was last seen getting on a train in Hull at 08.25am on Saturday to visit friends and family in Doncaster.

Megan was due to return to Hull about 6pm the same day but failed to return as expected and has not made contact since.

Missing Person officers in East Yorkshire are appealing to Megan or anyone in the Conisborough area who knows her whereabouts to make contact with Humberside Police to ensure her safety.

Megan is described as 4ft 11ins tall, of slim build, with red tipped brown collar length hair. She was last seen wearing a purple hoodie, a T-shirt, dark blue jeans and pink trainers.

Anyone with information as to Megan’s whereabouts is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 736 of June 29.
