A Doncaster primary school has been placed in special measures after the first Ofsted since it was created last year.

Adwick Primary School has been told the quality of teaching and achievement of pupils is inadequate.

The school was set up as a primary school in January 2013 when Adwick Park Junior School amalgamated with the previous Adwick Washington Infant School. There have been a number of staffing changes at all levels since the school was established, including a new headteacher and senior leadership team.
