Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they want to trace after a pensioner's home was ransacked in Doncaster.
They believe the men could hold vital information about the raid in Appleton Way, Bentley.
An 86-year-old man's home was burgled while he was at a hospital appointment.
It is not known what was stolen, but South Yorkshire Police said this house was 'ransacked' in the raid at 11am on Monday.
Police believe three people were involved, including one who may have been waiting nearby in a grey or silver Vauxhall Insignia.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Officers investigating a burglary in Doncaster would like to hear from anyone who recognises the two men in these CCTV images.
"The home of an 86-year-old man was targeted by burglars on Monday. It’s not currently known whether anything was stolen, but his house was ransacked by those responsible.
"The victim was out of the house at a hospital appointment at the time.
"Police believe three people were involved in the incident - it’s thought one of them may have been waiting nearby in a grey or silver Vauxhall Insignia.
"The two men pictured may have vital information about what happened.
"Do you recognise them? Or perhaps you saw the car parked nearby on the day in question?"
