POLICE are appealing to members of the public for information following two incidents of indecent exposure.

The first occurrence took place at around 8am on Wednesday, July 25. A man exposed himself to a 44-year-old woman as she was walking to work in the Rawmarsh area of Rotherham.

The encounter took place on a pathway that runs between Manor Farm shops, Hollis Close and Woodhouse Close.

Police were told that a man walking in the opposite direction to the woman, turned off on to a pathway leading to Whitfield Road, and when the woman was adjacent to that road, the same man exposed himself to her.

The man is described as white, aged in his thirties and around 5ft 10ins tall with short brown hair.

He was wearing green canvas shorts with pockets on the sides and a white tee-shirt, that could possibly have been a football shirt.

At around 10.20am on the same day, a man of a similar description exposed himself to a 68-year-old woman as she walked along a pathway leading towards Munsborough Rise in Greasbrough.

Police are appealing to anyone with any information relating to either of these two incidents to get in touch.
