Man dies after stay at Doncaster hotel

A 40-year-old guest at the Danum Hotel passed away in the early hours of yesterday morning, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the town-centre based hotel at around 5.45am on December 6.

The man is understood to have been experiencing problems breathing.

A police spokesman said the man is believed to have died after he left the hotel.

They added that inquiries into the man’s death are ongoing, but confirmed the incident is not being treated as ‘suspicious’.

His identity is not yet known.

The Danum Hotel declined to comment on this incident.
