A DONCASTER student has teamed up with Olympic superstar Jessica Ennis to star in a new Sky Sports advert.

Lindsay McGlone, a pupil at Balby Carr Community and Sports College, was invited to take part in the advert with heptathlete Jessica after she was named the Sky Sports Living for Sport Student of the Year 2011 for Yorkshire and the Humber.

Sky Sports Living for Sport is a free secondary schools initiative using sports skills to improve the lives of thousands of young people across the UK.

Lindsay was bullied at school due to her weight which caused her self-confidence to drop and she became extremely self-conscious during PE lessons.

As a result of this, Lindsay was one of a group of girls chosen to take part in the school’s Sky Sports Living for Sport project.

Lindsay said: “I was so excited when I was told that I would be meeting Jessica Ennis and filming an advert with her. Sky Sports Living for Sport has helped me to turn my life around.”
