A DONCASTER solicitors firm has won two prestigious awards.
Legal eagle Natalie Aitken, an employment law specialist at Atteys Solicitors, swooped to pick up the Rising Star crown at the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards.
Natalie, who advises commercial and private clients on all aspects of employment law, was the only person from South Yorkshire to win an award at the competition out of a record number of entries.
The former president of Doncaster Junior Chamber International has helped schools across the borough by organising work experience for pupils.
She runs a free weekly legal advice clinic at Atteys in Cleveland Street.
There were also further celebrations for the borough-based firm after it beat 700 other contenders to win the 360 Legal Member of the Year award.
The company received the prestigious gong at the annual ‘Who Dares Wins’ awards ceremony.
The event recognises law firms that are acclimatising the best during the difficult economic climate.
Atteys has addressed the recession by becoming a limited company, employing a non-lawyer chief executive and restructuring its services for its customers.
Brian Middleton, one of the judges, said Atteys stood out after driving the business forward.
