A large police presence has been spotted near Doncaster sheffield Airport tonight - and is part of a police operation, the force has confirmed.
A reader got in touch to report that several riot vans and other police cars had been spotted near the airport.
Tonight, South Yorkshire Police’s Force Incident Manager told The Star and Doncaster Free Press that the large presence is part of a police operation but it is not connected to the airport.
The manager refused to confirm what the operation is, but stressed it is not connected to the airport.
