LABOUR leader Ed Miliband and his partner are getting married today.

The Doncaster North MP will wed barrister Justine Thornton, 40, at a plush Langar Hall Hotel close to the bride’s childhood home near Nottingham.

The couple said they had agreed around March last year that they were going to get married - and that their plans had not changed at all after Mr Miliband’s election as Labour leader

in September.

The couple say the ceremony which will be attended by around 50 guests including Mr Miliband’a brother and Labour leader election hopeful David, will be informal.

They are planning a reception in Doncaster following their honeymoon.

The pair met in 2004 and became a couple a year later. They have two young children Daniel and Samuel, and live at the family home in north London when Mr Miliband is not on duty in his constituency.
