Young people in the Isle have the chance to apply for the next wave of apprenticeships being offered by North Lincolnshire Council.
The local authority has announced it will be creating another 16 positions from April 2. It comes after the created 40 apprenticeships in the past year.
The new apprentices will work in a variety of trainee roles including environmental health and customer service assistant, sport, play and community development officer, financial assistant, taxation and benefits assistant and a family support worker.
First he new intake will undergo a two-day induction with the council before starting work.
Coun Liz Redfern, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “We need to do all we can to help young people.
“The scheme offers people the chance to gain valuable work experience and learn new skills – which is vitally important to future employers.”
