Do you know your Dahl from your Defoe and do you like quizzes?

The fun World Book Night Quiz that tests your knowledge of books is returning to North Lincolnshire Central Library in Scunthorpe on Thursday, April 23.

Celebrate your love of reading at the popular quiz. It will start at 7.30pm and doors open at 7pm.

Whether you are a book whiz or just interested in reading books at any level, this is the quiz for you.

Join in the celebrations of World Book Night. Prizes will be on offer for the teams that come first, second and third. Teams should have no more than five people.

There will be soft drinks and nibbles provided, but people are welcome to bring their own drinks as well (including alcohol).

The quiz is suitable for over 18s and costs £4.50 in advance or £5 on the door. Tickets are available online at www.northlincs.gov.uk/library-payments or from North Lincolnshire Central Library.

For more information about the quiz night call the library on 01724 860161 or email library.enquiries@northlincs.gov.uk.

Coun Carl Sherwood, cabinet member for Customer Services, Sport and Leisure, said: “World Book Night is fantastic way of encouraging people to share their love of books and reading. The quiz is a fun way of learning more about books and testing peoples’ knowledge. It’s the perfect opportunity as well to encourage people that don’t read to pick up a book and discover how enjoyable reading is.

“The previous World Book Night quizzes have been very popular and we have received some great feedback. Don’t miss out on this year’s quiz – get your tickets today.”
