On Monday it will be rather cloudy at first, with sunny spells developing by the afternoon. It wil be drier and feeling warmer inland than Sunday in the sunshine and lighter winds. Maximum Temperature 14C.

The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Fine and mostly dry with some sunny spells, but rather cloudy at times, especially near the coast. Temperatures average for the time of year but staying chilly near the coast.

UK Outlook for Friday Apr 24 to Sunday May 3:

Cloudier conditions with outbreaks of rain are expected to spread northeastwards across the UK during Friday heralding a change to a more unsettled spell of weather for the last few days of April and early May. During this time many areas will be affected by bouts of unsettled weather with showers and rain. Some heavy showers are possible, and during the last few days of April some of the showers may also be wintry over hills. In spite of the rain and showers there should be some brighter periods too. Conditions are also likely to turn cooler than of late during late April, more especially in the north, and this change may happen as early as next weekend. Windy at times too, especially in the north.

UK Outlook for Monday May 4 to Monday May 18:

Unsettled conditions becoming established during late April are likely to persist into early May. Beyond this, there are no strong signals regarding likely weather types for the first half of May. As such, the most likely scenario is for weather conditions during this period to be fairly typical for the time of year with spells of fine and bright weather interspersed with occasional bouts of more unsettled and changeable conditions. Daytime temperatures are likely to be above average when conditions are fine and near or a little below average during unsettled weather. As is common for the time of year, spells of settled weather may be accompanied by chilly evenings with isolated overnight frost in rural areas.
