Doncaster’s Stop Smoking Team are getting ready to celebrate the 31st National No Smoking Day tomorrow with the message that help is at hand for people wanting to kick the habit.

This year the team, who are part of Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, will be out and about promoting the support on offer to help smokers to quit.

They have already delivered a range of stop smoking information to children’s centres throughout the borough and to hospitals.

They will be at Eatons Cooper Lighting and Safety, a manufacturing company on Wheatley Hall Road, who will be making their site totally smoke-free and encouraging their staff who smoke to stop.

Other members of the team will be on the RDaSH Health Bus, offering a range of support to people wanting to stop smoking.

A stop smoking bus will be in Balby in the morning, and touring Thorne in the afternoon.

Anyone wanting support can call the Doncaster Stop Smoking Service on 01302 640064 or visit East Laith Gate House, East Laith Gate.
