The Christmas lights at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Mexborough Montagu Hospital will be switched on next week.
Prior to the Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, school pupils will sing carols to patients.
Doncaster Royal Infirmary will be holding its ceremony at its Gate 4 main entrance on Thursday December 5.
The lights will be switched on by Trust Chairman Chris Scholey, at 4pm, accompanied by children and staff of Park Primary School, Wheatley, who will be singing Christmas carols.
Prior to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, the Park Primary School children will spend the afternoon entertaining visitors and patients by singing carols in the hospital’s outpatient departments and on the children’s wards.
The Montagu Hospital in Mexborough will be switching on its Christmas lights on Tuesday 3 December at 3.45pm, accompanied by the children from St John the Baptist Church of England School singing carols round the Christmas tree in the entrance of the hospital’s newly opened Fred and Ann Green Rehabilitation Centre.
Each child taking part in the ceremony from St John the Baptist School will be presented with a Christmas light courtesy of the Montagu Hospital Comfort’s Fund.
