Doncaster’s contraception and sexual health service has expanded its service.
From this week, the clinic based in East Laith Gate House, between Iceland and Cooplands, is opening its doors an hour earlier on weekdays so people can now drop in from 8.30am.
The clinic offers all contraception including emergency contraception, cervical cytology and testing, and treatment for some sexual infections including chlamydia.
Staff can also provide psychosexual counselling and sex relationship and pregnancy advice.
Clinical manager Christina Harrison said: “The confidential service is open to people of both sexes and all ages. You can choose to make an appointment or just drop in within our new opening times to suit your needs.
“The new opening times mean that people can visit before or after work as well as during the day. Opening earlier means we are more accessible for people who choose to use our service.”
The clinic is now open from 8.30am until 7pm on weedays.
Anyone who would like to discuss having contraception and sexual health services in their workplace or organisation as part of health awareness should call Christina Harrison on (01302) 640040.
The contraception and sexual health outreach nurse is on 07879401470 and the youth worker on 07879401470.
