Drug rehab group set up

DONCASTER is getting Narcotics Anonymous meetings for the first time to help addicts kick their addictions.

The free weekly meetings are being held at The Garage, in Thorne Road, which is part of Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust’s substance misuse service.

Team leader at The Garage, Amy Johnson, said: “The group atmosphere is very supportive and the anonymity enables people to attend meetings

without fear of legal or social repercussions.”

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using.
