A COMMUNITY organisation which helps people with mental health issues has secured an internet contract to offer its members IT support.

Big Ambitions CIC has been awarded as part of the BT’S Get It Together campaign which enables charitable and community organisations to help their community get online.

The judging panel were impressed by the Doncaster organisation’s innovative ideas to get people online.

The broadband connection will be used to run IT training alongside Doncaster West Development Trust.

Jane Jefferson, strategic director at Big Ambitions, said: “We’re so pleased to have been recognised by BT Community Connections, the year’s free broadband is just fantastic. This allows us to provide increased ICT training to our clients, who can use this skill as part of meaningful activity and to access employment opportunities.”
