a CAMPAIGN urging people to get their hearing checked has been backed by Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton.
Miss Winterton joined TV presenter Anne Diamond and campaigners Bobbie Roberts and Alan Robinson from Doncaster Deaf Trust, in the Houses of Parliament to mark Action For Hearing Loss’s 100th birthday.
The charity, formerly referred to as the RNID (The Royal National Institute for Deaf people), warned there are four million people in the UK with undiagnosed hearing problems.
The group gave its support to the charity’s campaign, which encourages people to get a hearing check-up.
