Glastonbury may be having a break this year, but the Fake Festivals Tour is back bigger and better with early bird tickets now on sale and Sandall Park playing host to festival fever on May 19.

Now in its sixth year, the tour is visiting more places than ever and South Yorkshire can enjoy the festival vibe right on its doorstep once again.

Taking place at Sandall Park, Doncaster and with performances from some of the best and internationally acclaimed tribute bands in the world including Coldplace, Kazabian and Basketcase (Green Day tribute), as well as five local support bands, it’s the ultimate destination for your festival fix. Plus, it can offer a guarantee like no other – the British weather can’t ruin it.

Hosted inside the Fake Festivals marquee and boasting a main stage with a state of the art sound and lighting system, people can enjoy the full festival vibe but without the beer and brolly juggling! Plus, a secured area featuring a variety of food stalls, face painting, a bucking bronco, bungee run and bouncy castle, ensures there’s plenty for families to enjoy too at this community led event.

“The 2012 tour is the biggest to date and we’re delighted to be stopping off at Doncaster again,” says Jez Lee founder of Fake Festivals.

“The idea of Fake Festivals was always to bring that authentic festival feeling to your home town instead of having to travel hundreds of miles and pay hundreds of pounds to experience it,” he continues.

“Our bands not only sound like the real thing, but also give such a good performance that you may as well be watching the real band themselves – the only difference with our festival is that our ticket prices are a fraction of the cost of V or T in The Park.”

With highly acclaimed tributes headliners such as Coldplace citing Fake Festivals as the highlight of their year and previous tours selling out, people are encouraged to grab their tickets now at an Early Bird discounted rate (available until April 19th) either online at Fake Festivals or from local outlets:

“Expect to see the Coldplay show when we perform, we have all the new songs along with all the classics in our set, as well as a great light show!”
