A community bike ride is due to take place in Crowle on Sunday.

The ‘Sky Ride’ bike event starts at Crowle market place at 10am, and people wishing to take part will need to book a place.

Rides are suitable for people of all abilities and children between the age of 5 and 12 who take part in the event will also be able to collect free gifts like sports watches.

Once children register to take part in their first Sky Ride local ride they will receive a sports watch.

When they have taken part in three rides, Sky Ride will send them a Sky Ride Local backpack.

Cllr John Briggs, cabinet member for Asset Management, Culture and Housing said: “Sky Ride local bike rides are a great way for all the family to get out and about in North Lincolnshire. The bike rides have been very popular so far. It doesn’t matter what you ability is, you can ride at your own pace. Make sure you register on the Sky Ride website to join in.”

A series of free, fun guided bike rides are planned throughout Sepetember as part of the Sky Ride programme.
