Have your say

If you fancy treating yourself on your lunch break there’s nothing nicer than a good cuppa and a cake.

And if its quaint tea room charm that you’re after look no further than the Georgian Tea Rooms.

The warm and welcoming surroundings in High Street, Doncaster were a welcome break from the weather outside.

I felt like a kid in a sweet shop as I surveyed the array of tasty and calorific looking cakes on offer.

Before moving straight on to cake I decided to opt for a sensible poached egg on brown toast.

The poached egg was cooked to perfection and washed down with a generous pot of warming tea.

Then it was time to throw out the diet book and indulge.

After careful consideration I opted for a slice of victoria sponge.

The light and fluffy sponge was sandwiched together with lashing of thick butter cream and jam - perfection.

If its friendly service you’re after and amazing cake you are after look no further.
