When is bingo not bingo - when it’s fungo!

Harrogate Drive Community Centre is starting a brand new activity afternoon and lunch club on Wednesdays.

Organiser Fran Rhodes said: “Fungo is just like a session of bingo but not taken seriously. It’s a great laugh and people of all ages take part. We are inviting people in the Denaby area to come and bring the community together.

“The lunch club runs from noon to 1.30pm and the fungo sessions start at 2pm for two hours. Come into the centre on Fridays to book your lunch.”

The combined forces of Harrogate Drive Tenants’ and Residents’ Association and Neighbourhood Watch Team held a Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and bric-a-brac sale raising £150 in aid of Macmillan Cancer.
