The funeral of one of five teenagers tragically killed in a horrific car crash is due to take place this morning.

A service for Arpad Kore, 18, will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church on Armthorpe Road this morning.

He will arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, and the service is expected to start at around midday.

A section of Armthorpe Road, between the Sandringham Road junction and Armthorpe Lane, will be closed between 10.45am and 1.30pm to accommodate the large number of people expected to attend.

Traffic travelling along that section of the road will be diverted to Thorne Road.

Residents in the area will be able to travel along the closed section of the road by foot.

Arpad, along with 16-year-old Jordanna Goodwin, Megan Storey, 16, Bartosz Bortniczak, 18 and Blake Cairns, 16 all died following a two car collision in Sheffield Road, Conisbrough on November 15.

The funerals of Bartosz, Megan and Jordanna were held earlier this week, and a service for Blake is due to take place tomorrow morning.

Four of the five were students at Danum Academy while Bartosz was a former pupil.
