Families of three Misterton women, who lost their battles against cancer, are organising a fundraising day in their memory.

Heading the event is Joy Johnson, 56, of Hillsyde Avenue, who herself has been battling with the disease.

The first fundraiser, in aid of Cancer Research, was a coffee morning last year which fetched in over £600, it is hoped an event later this month with top that figure.
