Young people in Mexborough joined others across the borough in improving their fitness over their half term holiday.
Family support workers in Doncaster provided plenty of diversions for youngsters at different centres by holding a series of activity sessions.
The staff from Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) linked up with groups in Mexborough, Stainforth and Intake to help keep kids busy, fit and active in an enjoyable way.
There was a great turnout at Mexborough, where Lindsay Smithson, the events organiser, was pictured mid-session with a happy throng.
ActivKids is aimed at young people between the ages of four and 11 and meet-ups are designed to be great fun. Programmes focus on developing children and young people’s fundamental movement skills through non-sport specific play, active games and recognised exercise.
