Firefighters were called to the following incidents over the weekend of November 1/2:-

Clay Lane: Firefighters were called to a rubbish fire in Wilberforce Road at 7pm on Sunday November 2. The incident has been logged as deliberate.

Hexthorpe: Firefighters were called to a rubbish fire in Abbott Street around 1.30am on Monday November 3. The incident has been logged as deliberate.

Adwick: A woman in her 40s had to be cut free from a car after a road smash on Saturday November 1. The incident happened at 6pm in Sticking Hill and involved two cars - one of which had flipped over onto the roof. Two fire engines attended the incident and were on the scene for an hour and a half. The woman was hospitalised but the extent of her injuries are not yet known.

Armthorpe: Firefighters were called to an out of control bonfire in Edwards street at 9pm on Friday October 31. They remained on the scene for about an hour until the blaze was under control.
