A house door that was deliberately set ablaze in the early hours of the morning, on April 11, caused minimal damage at an address in Balby.

The incident happened at about 2am at a house in Greenfield Lane. Two appliances from Edlington and Doncaster attended, but the fire was out on arrival.

The fire service reported that there were no injuries and the house did not have to be vacated.
