An Isle pub will hold a bumper charity day, with fun for all the family on Sunday.
The eventful day will feature live music, sponsored fundraisers such as body waxings, and a major raffle at the White Hart.
Last year’s charity day raised over £1000 and manager Jack Slingsby is hoping this year will see an equally good sum amassed for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice and MacMillan Nurses.
The young manager said he has personal experience of how much help and support the charities provide to people who need them.
Later, on May 25, the White Hart’s traditional family day will include a barbecue, children’s attractions including a bouncy castle and face painting, and again, live music.
