The family of a Rawmarsh man found dead in Wombwell last Friday have paid tribute to him after police launched a murder investigation.
The body of 41-year-old Shane Beadling was found at an address in Bartholomew Street at around 9.40pm.
In a statement the family of Shane, 41, of Potterdyke Avenue, said: “Shane was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, and he had many friends in the area where he lived. Shane had his problems, and tended to move around a lot, but he always kept in touch with his family, and we will miss him terribly. Shane’s death has left his family heartbroken and devastated. The family would like their privacy to be respected during this sad time.”
A post mortem examination revealed Mr Beadling died as the result of multiple injuries.
Barry Count, 32, of Bartholomew Street, Wombwell, appeared at Barnsley Magistrates Court charged with murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Kerry Musgrav, also of Bartholomew Street, Wombwell also appeared charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
