NORTH Lincolnshire is hosting a free event for businesses interested in opportunities in the biomass heating industry.
The event takes place at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Church Square, Scunthorpe, from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday September 28.
It is aimed at plumbers, engineers, construction companies and heating installers, wood recyclers, building maintenance and management contractors.
Information and advice about biomass heating will be available along with potential sources of funding and support.
There will be presentations from various experts offering advice on becoming a recognised biomass heating system installer.
The event will focus on renewable heat from biomass, including woodchips and fuel logs.
North Lincolnshire Council has organised the event with the following organisations:
· Humber Environment Network
· Hoval Limited – Leading European pioneer and innovator in environmentally friendly heating and cooling systems
· NICEIC - UK electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body
· North Lincolnshire Homes
