DONCASTER has signed up for Keep Britain Tidy’s Love Where You Live campaign.

The campaign aims to inspire individuals, businesses, groups and organisations to think about their communities and take personal responsibility for the local environment.

Doncaster Council hopes to get 14,000 people and 150 organisations involved over the next three years.

Coun Cynthia Ransome cabinet member for communities joined a litter pick in Anchorage Lane, Sprotbrough, to launch the campaign. She said: “Love where You Live is all about empowering local people to take pride in their communities.”
