ARE you wild about recycling, committed to conservation or enthusiastic about energy-saving?
If so, then now’s the time to tell us about the great work going on locally to protect our future as part of the Doncaster Free Press Environment Awards.
And, based on the high standard of winning projects last year, they already know that Doncaster people are taking green issues seriously and making a difference to their communities and workplaces.
In fact everyone from schoolchildren to company directors are recognising the need to protect the planet and they have some innovative ways of going about it.
So, if you know someone who deserves recognition for their hard work and achievements, just tell us.
There are ten categories to choose from giving organisations and individuals every chance to shine:
Primary School Award
Senior School Award
Design and Build Award
Lifetime achievement Award
Banks Renewables, Taylor Wimpey and Beta Technology are among the businesses backing our awards, the results of which will be revealed at a presentation dinner at the Keepmoat Stadium on Thursday, April 19 hosted by BBC Look North weatherman and climate correspondent Paul Hudson.
