Following the success of their Mercury Award winning album ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’ and a procession of awards including Best British Band at the BRITS, an NME award and 2 Ivor Novello Awards, Elbow announce their first full UK Arena Tour.

Elbow will perform at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Saturday 19th March 2011. Tickets priced £27.50 (booking fee may apply) are available in person at the Arena Box Office, by phone on 0114 256 5656 and online at www.motorpointarena.co.uk.

These will be their first live shows since a rapturous send off at the sold out Manchester MEN Arena show in September 2009.

Sheffield legend Richard Hawley will be joining the band on stage for a one off performance of ‘The Fix’ at Elbow’s Motorpoint Arena show in his home town on Saturday 19th March.

Villagers have also been confirmed as special guests to Elbow on their upcoming arena tour throughout March.

Undoubtedly one of the country’s most beloved bands and now one of their most successful, Elbow have spent the intervening eighteen months working on ‘Build A Rocket Boys’ the newly released follow up album to ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’.
