Isle youngsters had a nice surprise at their activity group when they were presented with chocolate eggs for Easter.

Members of the congregation at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Epworth donated the tasty treats to 24 toddlers at the Jack in a Box playgroup.

The Easter eggs, made from Fairtrade sourced chocolate, came with a message explaining the real story of Jesus at Easter.

Group co-leader Sue Leese, 60, of High Street, Epworth, said: “It was a really nice surprise for them and it is important that we included the story of Jesus.”
