BOLLYWOOD came to a school as part of a week-long World adventure.

Rosedale Primary School pupils donned colourful costumes to master Indian dance moves similar to those seen in smash-hit movie Slumdog Millionaire.

A professional instructor spent the day with pupils at the school in Emley Drive, Scawsby, for the workshop.

It was part of a week of events in which schoolchildren travelled the globe without even having to pack or hop on a plane.

Activities included learning African drumming and sampling foods from various cultures for its school topic called ‘What a Wonderful World Week’.

It was part-funded by its parent teacher association, the Friends of Rosedale Primary School.
