Youngsters at a Dearne secondary school showed off their acting and dancing abilities during a special drama production.

Dozens of students from five different year groups put on a huge extravaganza called ‘Good Times’ at Saint Pius X Catholic High School in Wath-upon-Dearne.

The show included a range of pop songs, all with a toe tapping beat. Students dressed up in bright, fluorescent colours for a dance performance, while a live band provided the music.

They put on a matinee performance for other students and staff at the school.

Primary school students from across Wath, parents and governors were invited to watch an evening performance.

School staff member Marie Micklethwaite said: “Our students from Year 7 to Year 11 have been involved in producing this show and have put a lot of time and dedication into it.”
