Easter fun raises over £200 for charity

Residents of Adwick-Le-Street have raised over £200 for charity by holding a coffee morning and Easter treasure hunt for the local community.

The social committee at Adwick-Le-Street Methodist Church organised the events, which were attended by sixty adults and children at the end of last month.

A total of £231.14 was raised, which will go towards Marie Curie Cancer Care. Pictured selling cakes are sisters Dorothy Greenbank, (front) and Rachel Adams, (back).
