Drugs stolen in pharmacy raid

Weldricks pharmacy in Grange Lane, Rossington, was broken into in the early hours of Monday.

South Yorkshire Police said 'various controlled drugs' were taken during the raid.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Police want to hear from anyone who may have been offered controlled substances or who may hold information about those responsible for the burglary.

"Officers also want to urge the public not to take any medication that has not been prescribed to them as it could place your health at serious risk if you take unknown substances at unknown strength and in non-regulated quantities.

"If you have any concerns or have taken any medication, you can call the NHS Helpline on 111."

Anyone with information about the break-in should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
