Dramatic picture reveals fire on motorway near Doncaster

Highway England officers had to close lanes while fire crews put the flames out yesterday morning.

The agency revealed more details of the incident this morning and issued the picture, describing the problem as an issue with the brakes.

The truck was ablaze on the northbound carriageway of the M18 between junction six at Thorne and Moorends and junction seven, Langham at 7am.
