A BOYS’ brigade has celebrated two honours after impressing in an international competition and getting one of the highest honours possible.

The 7th Doncaster Company based in Priory Place, came 15th in a global team games event where members competed with other brigades from all over the world.

Then senior member Aaron Dickson, of Hyde Park, received the Queen’s Badge - the highest brigade honour.

The 19-year-old, who has autism and attends Stone Hill School in Scawsby, had to complete a series of voluntary projects in the community.

The group meets at the Methodist Church in Printing Office Street on Fridays between 6pm and 9pm.
