A trio of Doncaster musicians are using their talents to raise money for a local charity this Christmas – with the support of other professional musicians from across the UK.

‘Yule love This Christmas’, an original song written and orchestrated by composer Geoffrey Hewitt, features the voices of Max Bowker and Dan Morris.

Both singers are sixth form students at The Hayfield School. Recording artist Max performed on the BBC’s ‘Frank Sinatra: Our Way’ and Dan has acted in plays with the National Youth Theatre. The song is inspired by a catalogue of Christmas classics.

A film to complement the song has been shot around Doncaster and the trio have staged ‘flash mob’ singing and dancing performances to promote the song.

Proceeds will go to the Doncaster Foodbank.
