Motormouth television presenter Jeremy Clarkson has landed himself in more hot water - after tweeting that he was driving with a beer in his car cup holder.
The controversial Doncaster star’s latest antics come as the BBC confirmed that a episode of the motoring show filmed recently in Argentina in which the hosts were forced to flee the country after being pelted with rocks following supposed jibes about the Falklands War, will be broadcast as planned.
Clarkson, who was driving in Australia at the time, tweeted: “One of the best drives of my life. Gravel road. M6. Sun going down. iPod playing Blind Faith. Beer in cup holder.”
Social media users rounded on the host, suggesting he was irresponsible. There is no suggestion he was drinking at the time.
But one Twitter user, Lukas the Kop Cat, said the star was looking to create controversy and wrote: “Clarkson is the greatest wind up merchant of his generation. And everybody bit. Top work, Jeremy… ”
Clarkson is in Australia with co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond to film a special episode.
