A fundraiser at the Doncaster Dome where a big-hearted teenager had her luscious locks shorn has helped a leading charity.

Jessica Hempshall, aged 16, from Wath-upon-Dearne, donated seven inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust for making up wigs for those who have lost theirs through cancer treatment. The shave took place as part of Yorkshire Cosplay Con, a comic and gaming convention held at the leisure centre.
