Online shoppers in Doncaster are amongst those in the country least likely to buy violent video games, according to a new report.
An independent study of online shopping habits over the past 12 months by independent shopping price comparison engine, PriceSpy.co.uk, examined online shopping habits in major UK towns and cities.
Doncaster came ninth in the top ten which revealed the towns and cities that buy the least violent video games, in proportion to their population size.
Erik Lorentz, head of communications at PriceSpy.co.uk, said: “The shopping data we have access to gives us a fascinating insight into online consumer shopping trends across the UK.
“From Doncaster to London - we were curious to see which areas snap-up the least and most violent video games.
“It will be interesting to see if new releases like Call of Duty Ghosts will top the charts in the run up to Christmas.”
