Young biker taken to hospital following Isle village crash

a MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital today following a crash in an Isle of Axholme village.
There was a fuel leak following the collision between the bike and a stationary car in Main, Althorpe.
Fire crews were called to the scene just before 11.40am. Firefighters used water to wash away petrol.
A man, who was riding the motorcycle, was taken to hospital, a fire service spokesman said.
Police said the car was a silver Land Rover and gave the age of the injured rider as 18.
